Description

I have this recipie from the when I was at university in 1994. It is originally from the USENET.

Ingredients

2 c
Flour
3 t
baking powder
1⁄2 t
Salt
1⁄4 c
Sugar
2  
Eggs
2 T
Oil
1 c
Milk

Instructions

Sift flour dry ingredients into a bowl
Stir in liquid ingredients with a wire whisk, do not beat.
Rub griddle with oil, heat until water dropped from your hand bounces around.
Drop a large mixing spoon full of mixture for each pancake.
Cook until bubbly on top and brown underneath. Flip and cook top.
Keep griddle hot at all times.

Notes

In the UK pancakes a basic pancake would be flat.
