Description

A fast pea soup from Gary Rhodes using frozen peas

Ingredients

1  
Large onion
1  
knob of butter
450 ml
Stock
450 g
Frozen Peas
1 pn
Sugar
150 ml
Single cream (optional,0)

Instructions

Cook the onion in a knob of butter for a few minutes without letting it colour, but softened.
Add the stock and bring to a rapid simmer.
Add the peas and cook on heat for 3 minutes.
Once the peas are soft and tender, season and liquidize.
Add single cream for creamer consistency.
